Steps in Hand-Tooling a Belt

The Veiner Tool

The making of a hand-tooled Custom Western Belt involves several steps.    The sixth tool applied in the hand-tooling process is the veiner tool.  This tool has a crescent shape and is applied to center vein of each of the leaves in the pattern and as an accent to the stem.  It is best described as having a corrugated pattern that gives texture and character to each leaf.  It is meant to duplicate the numerous veins that branch out from the center of each leaf, which gives the tool its name.  See the tool applied by watching our video.  Order your Custom Western Belt today.
